This leaves the top soil in place with minimal disturbance to the microbiology and No damage to the worms. This method is commonly referred to as "No-Till Gardening"

Bringing compost in after broad-forking allows the soil to be amended deeper into the ground where the roots will be. This makes the worms happy too. They will play a key role in helping keep the soil compaction alleviated.
We cover the are with a silage tarp. Preferably for 30 days before planting. This gets the compost and native soil balanced out. Planting directly into compost without this process can harm baby plants. This process is great for preventing weeds that may emerge giving you a head start on relieving weed pressure!
Next, we protect the garden and install a surrounding fence to the area to protect from deer and other rodents who may want to enjoy your garden before you do.
To prevent time being wasted on constant weed pulling, we can install a high quality "sunbelt fabric" and put holes where your plants will go. This method can replace the silage tarp and be installed right after compost. Alternatively we can add a deep mulching system that would be more natural, but a little less effective at weed control. This method would require some weeding from time to time.
For watering needs, depending on what you would like to grow, We can install drip irrigation directly to the root zone of your plants, or overhead broadcast sprinklers. This would be powered by an easy timer, or, easily plugged into your water spigot / garden hose for seamless irrigation of your entire garden, quickly and efficiently, all at once.
